The first Quantum portable unit was born 6 years ago as a result of a project of the Swedish public broadcaster SR. Since then, Northern European countries have never ceased to rely on this equipment and have become very good Quantum customers.
In the last few months 3 Nordic public operators have completed their infrastructure with our equipment:
– In Norway, NRK has acquired Quantum ST stationary equipment and Lite and XL portable units.
– In Denmark, DR has opted for the smallest of the family’s encoders, Quantum Lite, for agile and secure live transmissions.
– Finally, in the remote Faroe Islands archipelago, the public broadcaster has acquired Quantum W and Quantum Lite for its mobile communications and the Quantum 3U rack multicodec as studio equipment.
